Pryderi and Boudicca came from a litter of five which was found abandoned on the doorstep of my
vet's office in late January, 2007. The kittens were about three months old at the time, and
the staff at the office were looking for homes for them. I had lost three cats to illness in
the preceding few months, and thought it would be cheerful to have kittens around the house
again, so I adopted two of them.
Pryderi has grown up to be a big, handsome cat, but he is extremely shy with humans, including
me. (In this he is the complete opposite of his sister, who is bold as brass and loves to meet
people.) He runs if I approach him, but will sometimes get on the bed when I'm in it and doesn't mind
my being there as long as I don't look like I'm going to touch him. He gets along very well with other
cats, and enjoys playing and snuggling with several of his friends. One peculiar hobby of his is lying
directly in front of a fan when I have one running in the summer. Most of the cats don't like the air
blowing right on them, but Pryderi loves it.
